The logic that nothing, but chance, is scientific is a flawed one. It is a logical dead-end. If brand-new civilizations were discovered in outer space, would the logic of Darwinism and chance be employed in all of them? Would it be claimed that chance established civilizations everywhere? The portrayal of this miserable logic as scientific is the shame and disgrace of the current century.

The subject matter of this documentary was the lemur species living on the island of Madagascar of south-east Africa. A story was told about how these animals are claimed to have reached the island on a log 60 million years ago, evolving from the “proto-lemur.” (proto = ancestral)

Lemurs are members of the pro-simian (lower primates) group. They possess an ape-like body and joints. Most have a hairy tail, as long again as their bodies. They have a protruding, sharp nose and enormous eyes. (The Columbia Encyclopedia, Sixth Edition, 2001)

Evolutionists classify living things in the primate family, of which the lemur is a member, according to anatomical features making it possible for them to live in trees. That is the logic behind large apes such as the chimpanzee, gorilla and orangutan being included in the “advanced” primates group and lemurs among the “lower” primates.

The logic behind the reference to the proto-lemur in the National Geographic TV documentary stems from a similar classification regarding the features of lemurs.

However, expressions such as “proto-“ “advanced” and “lower,” which are designed to give the impression that evolutionary development actually exists, must not deceive anyone. The fact that primates and lemurs are normally classified in this way represents no basis in favour of evolution. This is also admitted by prominent evolutionists. One of these is Mark Ridley, who wrote the following in an article published in New Scientist magazine:

"The simple fact that species can be classified hierarchically into genera, families, and so on, is not an argument for evolution. It is possible to classify any set of objects into a hierarchy whether their variation is evolutionary or not. "(Mark Ridley, "Who Doubts Evolution?" New Scientist, vol. 90 (25 June 1981), p. 832)

Thus, referring to a living thing as a “proto-lemur” does not prove an evolutionary line of descent, and merely expresses interpretations constructed according to evolutionist scenarios. The criterion that represents the real proof on this subject is that of the fossil record. An analysis carried out according to that criterion will more clearly reveal that the evolutionist scenario regarding the evolution of the lemur is based on preconceptions. That is because lemurs have no fossil species that can be pointed to as their evolutionary ancestors. The famous paleontologist A. S. Romer states that the early lemurs (lemur-like creatures were supposed to be among the first primates) appear "apparently as immigrants from some unknown area” (A. S. Romer, Vertebrate Paleontology, Third edition, Chicago: Univ. Chicago Press, 1966, p. 218.
Romer’s expression makes it clear that the fact that lemurs appeared suddenly in one region with no evolutionary ancestor behind them, in other words the fact that God created them flawlessly in a moment, represents a major dilemma for the theory of evolution.

National Geographic TV’s claim regarding the evolution of lemurs consists of speculation based on no fossil evidence and produced by means of a number of anatomical features shared by many living things being interpreted with evolutionist preconceptions.

THE ATLAS OF CREATION RAZED DARWINISM IN EUROPE

The way that all of Europe has become acquainted with Atlas of Creation and the declaration of the fact that living creatures have remained unchanged for millions of years and that evolution is devoid of any scientific worth have led to a major change of belief among the people of Europe. Independent polls conducted by well-known publishing institutions in different European countries have revealed a major drop in the numbers of people believing in Darwinism and that belief in Allah now dominates Europe. >>

In order to create, God has no need to design

It's important that the word "design" be properly understood. That God has created a flawless design does not mean that He first made a plan and then followed it. God, the Lord of the Earth and the heavens, needs no "designs" in order to create. God is exalted above all such deficiencies. His planning and creation take place at the same instant.
Whenever God wills a thing to come about, it is enough for Him just to say, "Be!"
As verses of the Qur'an tell us:
His command when He desires a thing is just to say to it, "Be!" and it is. (Qur'an, 36: 82)
[God is] the Originator of the heavens and Earth. When He decides on something, He just says to it, "Be!" and it is. (Qur'an, 2: 117)
