The skeleton provides support for the human movement system by means of perfect harmony and cooperation between exceedingly detailed anatomical structures. It does this to perfection because it has an equally flexible and strong structure. The skeleton consists of some 200 bones equipped with joints at points that make it possible for the body to move in many directions in the most efficient manner. These joints have their own considerable complexity. There are lubricant fluids in the knees, for example, that not only prevent friction but also protect against bacterial attack. The skeleton, based on many balances such as these, reveals the magnificent creation of Almighty God in all regards.
An article published in the November 2005 edition of Geo magazine of Turkey once again revealed the fact of creation in the human skeleton. The article, written by Henning Engeln, provided information regarding the structure and organization of various types of bone, from the skull to those in the feet, and set out the most astonishing arrangements. It described the perfect organization in the skeleton in these words:
“Thanks to the cartilage layer, which is an elastic and protective tissue, the joints in the skeleton, which consists of 200 separate bones, move together with the tendons and muscles. There are flat bones in the skeleton (such as the skull bones, ribs, breastbone and shoulder blades), long bones (such as the arms and legs), short bones (the wrist), and irregular bones such as the spine. The shoulder region, consisting of the collarbone and shoulder blades, is exceedingly flexible since it is attached to the body of the skeleton by tendons and muscles. This shoulder region is attached to the upper arm through the shoulder socket, which is a round joint. This provides a wide scope of movement for the arms, which have a tendency to suffer injury such as sprains and damaged tendons. The size of the rib cage, consisting of 12 pairs of ribs alters during respiration with the help of the muscles in the region, such as the diaphragm. Since they permit us to stand upright and also bear the weight of the body, the backbone, pelvis band knee joints are very strong. However, when exposed to excessive wear they frequently cause disorders in old age, especially in the hip region. The knee joint, the largest joint in the body, has a structure known as the knee cap in the front of it. The knee cap helps human beings to run by transmitting the muscle power in the thigh to the calf over powerful tendons and ligaments.”
Being very strong as well as fairly light, the bones that make up the human skeleton play an important role in maintaining the human ability to move and resistance at a high level:
“The material of human bone falls short of cast iron and is twice as hard as granite. Yet the skeleton represents only 12% of total body weight. The bones of a 50-kg individual weigh only 6 kg. External bone consists of minute channels known as Havers channels and round ends that cover these. Despite the dense tissue of the round tips, bones are exceedingly light and flexible.
Bones not only support the body, they also serve as storage areas for minerals such as calcium and phosphate. Inside them are cavities for red marrow, made up of full red blood cells. Marrow tissue produces up to 5 billion new blood cells every day. Within this fatty tissue the erythrocytes (red blood cells) that carry oxygen to our cells, thrombocytes that permit clotting by adhering to one another, and leucocytes that maintain the immune system form. The internal layer of bone resembles a sponge. This layer, a network of struts, is full of cavities yet it contributes strength to the whole structure by transmitting the force it is subjected to as a result of pressure and tension in the most appropriate manner.
Bones move thanks to their being attached to one another by joints, tendons, ligaments and muscles. The knee joint, the largest in the body, is a “genuine” joint. Its extremities, where the bones are joined together, are able to move in several directions thanks to a flat cartilage layer, an elastic and protective tissue. Others, such as the spine, which are “not real joints”, are attached to one another by tissues and their mobility is highly restricted.”
The feet are without doubt one of the most perfect components of the human skeleton. The feet bear the entire weight of the body, for which reason their structure is of critical importance in terms of facilitating our movement or else making it more difficult. The feet contain bones that function like the shock absorbers in the cars designed by engineers. They are thus able to bear our weight in a perfect manner:
During walking, the human foot follows a route beginning from the heel and extending to the toes by way of the outer part of the sole. The foot bone, which has an arched shape in human beings, is lower in chimpanzees, which rarely walk on two legs. The arch works like a shock absorber on rough surfaces by expanding during walking. Small muscles that protect the arch by supporting it are to a large extent under the control of tendons attached to the muscles. In the event that the tendons and muscles weaken, there is a risk of having fallen arches or becoming flat footed.
The Secret Nature of Evolutionists
In addition to setting out evidence of the perfect creation in the human body, the article also highlights a feature of evolutionists’ character that they seek to keep concealed. That is, they actually have no positive belief in the evidentially unsupported theory of evolution, but they use it as a means of covering up the fact of creation, the truth of which they are in fact well aware of in their conscience.
Ineed, Engeln’s account clearly shows that he has seen God’s creation. He refers to the perfection in the human body being bestowed upon it:
“The skeleton, which has a perfect harmony from the static point of view, despite being loose, has been bestowed on the human organism as a support.”
It is in any case impossible for any rational person to write about the perfection in the human body without concluding that all the arrangements therein have not been bestowed upon it. In their hearts, evolutionists are well aware of God’s creation. God reveals this fact in a verse from the Qur’an:
“”… they repudiated them wrongly and haughtily, in spite of their own certainty about them…”” (Qur’an, 27:14)
However, evolutionists never mention this truth, which they see perfectly clearly with scientific evidence, and know and acknowledge in their hearts. Engeln describes the delicate arrangements and perfection in the human skeleton in a most striking manner, and emphasizes that these have been bestowed upon us, yet he still never refers to God, resorting instead to the fairy tale of the human skeleton developing from an ape-like form in the evolutionary process.
We are dealing with a most interesting situation with regard to evolutionists here. The belief that the perfect physical structure in human beings came about by means of evolution is supported by no scientific evidence whatsoever. Evolutionists have many times admitted that their claims are devoid of scientific proof. The evolutionist palaeontologist Elaine Morgan makes the following confession, for example:
Four of the most outstanding mysteries about humans are: 1) why do they walk on two legs? 2) why have they lost their fur? 3) why have they developed such large brains? 4) why did they learn to speak?
The orthodox answers to these questions are: 1) “We do not yet know;” 2) “We do not yet know;” 3) “We do not yet know;” 4) “We do not yet know.” The list of questions could be considerably lengthened without affecting the monotony of the answers. (1) (Elaine Morgan, The Scars of Evolution, Oxford University Press, New York, 1994, p. 5.)
Engeln, who writes that all these are perfections bestowed upon humanbeings, is actually making a parallel admission:
“It is becoming increasingly understood that the first and distinguishing steps taken in the direction of walking upright are the starting point of the chain that separates human beings from their ape-like ancestors. In fact, researchers are still debating from which factors this new form of movement stems (from living on the edges of densely forested areas?), how it came about (running in an upright position from one group of trees to another?) and why (in order to carry something in their hands?). (2) (Henning Engeln, “Sistemin Payandasi” (The Support of the System), Geo, Turkey edition, November 2005, p. 72)
Repetitions like “we still do not know” clearly shed no light at all on the supposed evolutionary origins of man. This means that evolutionists have no scientific account to back up their beliefs. Therefore, the concept of evolution, which Eigen sprinkles around his text, is actually a scientifically hollow one. The only reason why this scientifically meaningless term is repeated so often is that evolutionists are unwilling to refer to God, despite seeing the fact of creation perfectly clearly.
All of creation belongs to God alone, and He has no partners within it. God reveals this truth in another verse from the Qur’an:
“”He is God – the Creator, the Maker, the Giver of Form. To Him belong the Most Beautiful Names. Everything in the heavens and Earth glorifies Him. He is the Almighty, the All-Wise.”” (Qur’an, 59:24)
